Publishing Consultancy

We offer our clients editorial support, especially those new to the publishing experience. We assist with the editing, layout and cover design of books. We will further advise on the standard printing formats, which will include paper type, paper size, dimensions of the book, typesetting, colour type, photo quality (images, graphs, among others), so that clients are satisfied with the final outcome. We help clients obtain ISBNs for the different editions (paperback, hardcover and eBook) of their projects.

The Prima Publishing Service receives manuscripts at any stage of preparation, whether complete or incomplete. But it is a great idea to send us your work when it is complete and to cleave as closely as possible to our submissions’ guidelines. This will save you money.

1. Read Our Submissions Guidelines

Editorial and design work on a manuscript is markedly reduced when the manuscript is properly formatted to match what the publisher asks for. Read our submissions guidelines to get an idea of what we are looking for.

Once you have prepared your work to meet the requirements, upload your file or send it to us atprima@narrativelandscape.comalong with a statement of what kind of work you are looking for. We will evaluate your work to ensure that it is done right to get you the best product quality. We will also send you a publishing checklist which you can fill out and email directly to us.

We will send you a quote right after the evaluation. If our quotation is accepted, we will raise an invoice and work will begin on your book.

After editing and design and before we go to print, we will email you a PDF proof of your book for you to double check that everything is just right.

After you’ve confirmed that the proofs are exactly what you want, and you have signed off, and met our terms and conditions, we will start production.
