Véronique Tadjo
Véronique Tadjo is an author, artist and visiting Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a doctorate in Black American Literature and Civilization from the Sorbonne in Paris, and was a Fulbright Scholar at Howard University in Washington, DC. Most of her novels have been translated into English and many other languages, and her work has won acclaim, along with several literary awards. Véronique Tadjo has lived in Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa as well as in Europe. She now shares her time between London and Abidjan, her home city in Côte d’Ivoire.
